That would be number  ( 1 )  Always keep your pass words  safe and in a personal place / file  - Never give your passwords out to anyone at all . No One

Drummergal was seriously mistaken. The answer to the question, according to Cisco Networking Systems is number 2. NEVER keep your password on/in a personal file because a hacker could easily access it.
