Unlock codes are individual to the phone's IMEI. A code won't work for any other phone!
UNLOCK THE EASY WAY:- Call Vodafone - say you have had your phone for over 1 year (that's important!!) and say you want the unlocking code, please. Give the IMEI (dial star, hash, 06, hash to get it first) and Vodafone will email you the code with the instructions to input it.
