There is no bypass. But,you can get rid of the home screen layout by turning it off. ##3282# on the phone,then you will see a crazy list. SCROLL down till you get to *xui click on it,turn it off. Boom done.
This only gets rid od the scroll menu when the phn is idle,you will not be able to put wallpapers because we just disabled it. I know...has nothing to do with your question,but cool trick nonetheless
