There are two ways you can try to kill the giant spider on the PC game Ice Age 2: Meltdown. The slower, more difficult way is to constantly stomp on the spider and eventually you will do enough damage to the spider’s health to kill him. The quicker and easier method is to throw rocks at the spider. In order to do this you will need to get your timing and aim right. Stomp on the spider until to aggravate it so that it gets on its hind legs. When it does this, throw the rocks at the light red part of its stomach, under the hump on its back. You may need to do this a few times, approximately five, before it kills the spider, but once you have hit it in the stomach enough you will be able to move on to the next stage. Avoid standing in front of the spider for too long as she will attack you. You will also need to be prepared as she will send fleets of smaller spiders to attack you too.
