Just copy your data on your C Drive. It can be done by clicking right button of your mouse and then press copy. Now open D drive, right click here and press paste. That's it!
No. You have to physically move the data from C to D. Simply open (my)computer twice. Open the C: Drive, RIGHT Click on the files and folders you want to move and drag them to the D: Drive. Click on Move instead of Copy and the files are automatically transferred to the D: Drive.
Don't try to move Windows, Programs, Common Files or any other program from the C to D drive. That operation will make the program very unstable.

It is the D: Drive
Not Data drive
It is a partition Of your hard disk, generally it is done to recognise the system files, as if all your files would be a same place without any label or category it is difficult to recognise
The partition is just like the different folders on your hard drive
It is used to store files
And yes you can safely access it itr is a part of your Hard drive no harm in accessing it
Hope it Helps!!!

Some computers come with an extra partition on the hard drive containing a copy of the operating system in case you need to restore or reinstall.
HI, I was wondering what my D drive is and I discovered that it is used for storage of files but what else is it used for?
Well, when you restore an Acer, it restores the C drive. So the D drive should be used for a file backup during this process. They both read and write to the same hard disk, it's just that they are split for purposes such as this.
In most of the computers there is a folder with different names that store the backup data of your daily use. Whenever we do installation it asks for making backup drive' so an image of all of your data is made in that folder. This D folder can be your backup folder you can remove this folder after reinstalling windows.
