Netflix is similar to LOVEFiLM, where people have the opportunity to watch and rent a range of DVD's through their excellent service. There are thousands of titles to explore. They offer fast shipping and an easy-to-use website.

To enable you to change your password you need to do the following. Firstly, you should go to the Netflix page and log-in with your username and password. After this, click the continue button - you should now be logged in. If you are suffering problems then you should contact Netflix directly who will be able to help with any customer queries (if you cannot log-in, you may have entered your password incorrectly). After this, select 'your account' using the link near the top of the page, this will then provide you with the opportunity to change your 'account options'. It is precisely here where you can type a new password and alter your other preferences on Netflix. You can also change your shipping address, set up new profiles, change methods of payment and membership schemes. You can also look at your billing and rental history. You also have the opportunity to alter your format preferences for HD discs or Blu-ray, as well as to add or remove newsletter subscriptions and other marketing material.

You should go to the Netflix website and click on the Members Login in the top right hand corner. When you are asked for your password you should click the Forgot Password button. You will then be given instructions for getting a new password, or you may be emailed a link to activate it. If there are any problems you can contact Netflix through the site.

  1. Login to Netflix and ensure the primary account holder’s name is selected in the upper-right corner of the screen. If you have forgotten your password, go to the Password Reset page and enter the email address for your account, then follow the directions in your email.
  2. Select your name in the upper-right corner, then choose “Your Account“.
  3. Select the “Update email and password” link.
  4. Type your “Current Password“, “New Password“, then “Confirm New Password”.
  5. Select “Save“.

There are two options to change the password of your Netflix account.

Option 1: Change Your Netflix Password From Your Desktop Browser

  1. Login to Netflix and make sure that the primary account holder's name is visible in the upper-right corner of the screen. If, by any chance, you have lost your original password, visit the Password Reset page and type in the email address for your account. Follow the directions in your email.
  2. Select your name in the upper-right corner, then select “Your Account“.
  3. Choose the “Change password” link.
  4. Put in your “Current Password“, then “New Password“ and finally - “Confirm New Password“.
  5. A neat trick to make sure that all devices that use your account need to know the password right away, is to check the “Require all devices to sign in again with new password.“ That way, only people that know the new password will be able to access the service - effective immediately.
  6. Select “Save“.
Option 2: Change Your Netflix Password From Your iOS & Android App
  1. Login to your Netflix app. If you have lost your password, select the “Forgot Your Password?” option.
  2. Click the “Menu” Menu Button at the upper-left corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll down a bit until you reach “Account“ and click on it. This will open a browser page.
  4. Choose “Change password“.
  5. Put in your “Current Password“, then your “New Password“ and finally “Confirm New Password“.
  6. If you want this password to be required from all users, effective immediately, also check the “Require all devices to sign in again with new password.“
  7. Click “Save“.
