What Is The Difference Between Gui And MS-DOS?

A GUI or Graphical User Interface, is how 99.9% of computer opperating systems are running today. The offer the things we take for granted, such as shortcuts and the ability to click to run things. MS-DOS is what many people call the "old" way of running computers,  its that command line interface, where you have to know programming to be able to run a program or application.
