Go to the website and ensure that you are using the correct website and not a phishing site. The official site is www.greendotonline.com/greendot. You’ll then log in with your User ID and password. If you’ve forgotten either your User ID or your password, you can select "Forgot” below the log in. It will prompt you for your card number and your email address. In a few minutes, you’ll be able to check your email for the correct account credentials.
If this doesn’t work, you’ll need to call Green Dot to check on why you can’t log on. Customer service can be reached at 1-888-795-7597. They will be able to look at your account and determine if it’s been compromised or if there is lack of funds or whatever else the problem may be. They will ask you several questions to ensure that you are who you say you are. These questions will be based off of information you used when you set up the account.
If you continue to have a problem getting into your account online, you may request another card to be able to access your funds with. Customer service should be able to help you with everything that you need. Always ensure that you keep your card with you at all times and that you keep your password memorized or in a safe place so that you can avoid having your account compromised (theft), keeping your identity and your funds safe.
