Once you are level 4 you can chat and when you are level 4 you have to just type what you want to say.

Yes you can if go go on a st. Monsters say stuff like wow I all most hit him!and I would even go to there house to see if it was posted on their board and it was not!so yes you Can but I think you need to be at least a level 4.
You can't! Even though on the tv advert two monsters are chatting the only way of communicating iis via the pinboards
You click on one of your friends go to there room click on that board press "add message" then write it and then send it

Putting stuff on the pin board really isn't chatting so no you can't chat on moshi monsters and besides if you could chat on moshi monsters they would not make that you have to be on a certain level then people wouldnt go o it.It wouldnt be fair for other people.
