The Sony Ericsson W910i is a super slim slide phone, and measures only 12.5mm thick which is actually thinner than the Samsung D900. It's a lovely looking bit of kit with a tapered bottom edge and a slim profile.
The W910i also benefits from s its Walkman credentials on its sleeve, with music controls featured prominently when the slide is closed. Sony Ericsson’s keypad is not the best but is more than functional to use. This one has small "designer" buttons, others with larger, more conventional ones. The W910i has bigger, flatter keys than most phones on the market but it still isn't as easy to use as many rival phones.
If you require software to use Squire or Tamil then I am sure the good people at Sony Ericsson would be delighted to help. Go on the internet and locate the customer services number. Alternatively you can have the option of upgrading your software via a number of means which will take only a few minutes to download. On the SE site there is something called Update Service. This will give you the opportunity to update your phone for optimal performance and get the latest enhancements. According to their site, regardless if you have the latest software, it is a good routine to run Update Service to improve software stability. Also, if you experience problems with your phone this may be solved by a software update. It's easy to use Update Service, just run the application and follow the instructions.
You will need the following to update your phone’s software   Internet connection (preferably broadband)
    USB cable
    Intel® Pentium® 4, 2.0 GHz or higher, AMD Athlon
500 MB free hard disk space.
    512 MB RAM
    1 available USB 2.0 port
Windows XP™ (Home or Professional) with SP2 or later.
    Microsoft® Windows Vista™ (32/64 bit).
    Microsoft® Windows 7 (32/64 bit).
