This appears to be a standard interview question and the right answer would depend on the type of interview you are facing. If you are interviewing for the post of manager in a 'Mc Donald's' fast food chain, the answer would be quite different from, if you are interviewing for the post of a programmer in Microsoft. However, I can formulate some general answer but do tailor make it for the audience you would be facing.                My personal drivers are commitment to work, integrity, and strive for excellence. I am fully committed to my work at all times and am a very consciential worker. I believe in delivering my goals and duties to the best of my abilities always and in a very flawless manner.                I always set high standards for myself such that I am always working to meet my own goals of excellence and the ones that are handed down to me by my superiors. Setting high standards for myself has always kept me motivated to do better for my own satisfaction. This has also helped me become better worker and a better person with the passage of time. Some of the people around me i.e., my peers and subordinates also start looking up to me with the passage of time and try to follow some of my ideals and view points.                However, most importantly, my personal drivers have helped influence my own team members. I strongly believe, one must first live by the ideals that one wants the subordinates to follow and by following my own drivers, I have been able to influence my group members, quite often, to be better workers too.

I think my personal driver's are integrity, honesty and a generous spirit. Regardless of the job position you hold (whether it be in entry level retail or in medicine) if you give yourself with integrity, you will be true to yourself, a role model to others, and have right mental attitude to get a job done. Respect is also a very important personal driver in business. When you respect others, disengage from office politics, and just keep a very open, positive attitude, this makes others feel good around you, and, therefore, good about themselves. In short, one's personal driver is to live with integrity in business, personal relationships and especially to be true to oneself.
