There is no way to keep child predators from using any networking site. They are crafty, and manipulative. You can use Facebook, but even Facebook is not 100% safe. When I was your age I met new friends at school, parties, and other events. Social networking sites tell you NOTHING about the person with whom you are conversing. EVERYBODY lies! Grab your snowboard, your ice skates...or surfboard...and meet new friends in a healthy face-to-face way!

Unfortunately there are only a few because adults insist on ruining stuff for us. Its not my fault if someone else is stupid enough to put their info online. Anyways, fake age I know people who did that when they were really little ( not me)
MSN!!! You can chat to friends instantly, play games, webcam (video) and you have an online profile. I joined it when I was 10, and I put in my D.O.B (1998) and it let me on. I'm now 12 and I still find it good. I wish I could get facebook though :/ Hope it helped. Also, on MSN, you have a email account, so you can send and recieve emails from friends & family. Its a great way of instantly keeping intouch with people you hardly see, or people you just want to chat too more. :)

Probably not. There are laws regarding people under 13 and websites to prevent them from meeting predators and giving out personal information, and the very nature of sites like myspace and facebook encourages revealing personal information.
Honestly, I have no idea. I am currently 12-years-old and I've gotten no luck in my search for websites like Facebook. You could get Facebook and put a fake age; hence the word fake. It's lying and most likely illegal. A lot of people have msn, so you could replace the Facebook chats with that. As for the actual socializing part, I don't have a clue. I usually like to go on Meez and Dressupgames. But that's just my personal preference since I'm more childish and still into barbies. :S
