Buffer is a memory which stores data faster so processed data is put into the buffer for use of slow device which can access it later.

Spool" simultaneous peripheral operation on line" or spooling is the process in which there is a overlapping of output device and input device on the particular data.

Buffering means there is execution of one program and output will be the same program,where as Spooling means execution of one program and output will be the another program.
