You'd be better off looking for a Pit shelter near you, most areas have Pit rescue shelters.
I LIVE IN Wisconsin and I am looking for a blue eye pit and I found a website where they are selling one for 1,500 plus about 250 to fly the dog to WISCONSIN from Florida. Do you have any advice?
Possible scam. The price is high and I assume they want money in front. Never put money in front for uninspected dogs or money in front to people you do not know or can not be verified with the BBB.
I'm curious why you are so set on a VERY specific dog.
Seems more about a "trophy" than a loving companion.
I recommend you go to your local shelter, and rescue a dog.
With all the dogs that are in shelters ... Who could be wonderful additions to ANY family .. My only advise is to .. Either foster or adopt one that already needs a home .. For a lot less, and a lot closer to home. Then donate the rest of the money (you've set aside to purchase a dog) to the shelter of your choice.
There .. done, done and done!
