I use it to keep in touch with family and friends, so that would be hard for me. Just this week I was traveling when my nephew was in an accident, and being on a plane with limited Wi-Fi and no cell service made it difficult. Then driving through remote areas kept things limited. Thankfully he is going to be ok, but has at least two months of recovery ahead of him.
P.S. For those of you who ride motorcycles, wear your helmets! It was the difference between surgery/recovery or a funeral for my nephew.
It's hard, & the reason wouldn't be because I'm addicted, but in today's world or at least in my own world, network plays a crucial role.
A very more important part is about my connection to family & friends. Same people that I've met in person & have or had'em someday beside me, same people around the world that being my friend but we never met. I care about all. So I always keep my connection somehow & get time to contact them & see how they doing. I also get so many updated daily news by net.
I do road map instructions by net, search available jobs by net. Finding addresses by net. Receiving daily update of several hotels for their prices. Getting flight information by net. Ordering books online, shopping online, sometimes having online alarm clock, using online calculator when needed, using google translate for contacting people with different languages.
There's also plenty of good reliable sources for getting information on different topics in net. I can book restaurant, flight, hotel, a game seat/ticket ect .. With net, in so many activities net can help me out. When I was younger, without taking help or asking I've done my first tie, I've searched for a tutorial video & got a good one & learnt from it how to do my tie. I've got free drum lessons years ago for my drum practices. I learnt origami shapes & so many other things . . . . So it's really a useful & important connection for me & it would go into my nerves if I lose it up!!! Lol!
I would go nuts. You would have to sedate me for the whole week
I do all my banking online, so some bills might not get paid on time.
