I'd finally get some work done around the house.
If the Internet shut down for 24 hours, with no warning, how would it affect you?
I would have a nice peaceful day and catch up on some chores. I wouldn't mind at all!
I'm addticced to the internet, so.. I would probably be somewhat sad and bored lol.
I'm about to go camping for 10 days without the internet :S
I'd love it - as being old fashioned like some others on here, who grew up with all todays electronic conveniences, we really wouldn't miss the Internet at all unlike the younger Generations whose lives depend on these gadgets.
My hands would begin to shake, I'd break out in cold sweats, coarse black hair would grow all over my body, my eyes would turn red, and I'd turn into a monster. Well, even more of a monster than I am normally, I suppose. I'd shout at Mrs Didge, kick my dog, fight with the neighbours, and drive my car recklessly.
Please, please, don't take away my Internet. I don't want to become Mr Hyde.
I'd miss the convenience of email and instant research ... But like others have said, it wouldn't be a terrible loss. I grew up without it, and learned the arts of face-to-face interaction with people - and to use my imagination to entertain myself.
The Government would shut down and so would I.
