I'm about to get a gaming computer, should I get it with Windows 7 or Windows 8?

For the time being, I use Windows 8.1 for all of my gaming needs. So far, every game I have played on it works beautifully. I had a few problems with Assassins Creed Black Flag, but I was able to fix the problem. Best of luck to you.

It depends, if you want an actual computer experience, go with Windows 7 but if you want a giant tablet experience. Go with Windows 8.

Youtube has lots of Windows 8 reviews (personally I  think Windows 7 is a lot better)

I prefer Windows 7 myself for gaming but 8 isn't too bad either. You might want to hold off a month or so until Windows 10 is launched. I did some beta-testing on 10 and it would play any of the games I had on 7 just fine. I beta-test games for a company, so I know how well they all work. 7 for now but 10 is even better.

I was just looking through my other unit when you asked and I can't see anything as of yet you need to buy to add-on, so maybe they changed that idea since I first beta-tested it.

Go with Windows 7.  Some games will not work with Windows 8, and for now, stay away from Windows 10.

I also have a suggestion for you.  I am currently running Windows 7.  I
personally am going to wait until after the free period is over with to
get Windows 10, but, I am going to follow the story on it.  I have asked
at two different forums on the internet about a subscription fee with a
supposed OS called Windows, that is supposed to come out after Windows
10, and I am being told this information is false.

Follow the story however, because if any kind of subscription fee does show up, I'll be changing OS's unfortunately.

I strongly suggest that you get Windows 7 because most games are released with Windows 7. But if you want a faster OS and a new interface, get Windows 8.

I unequivocally recommend that you get Windows 7 on the grounds that most recreations are discharged with Windows 7. In any case, on the off chance that you need a quicker OS and another interface, get Windows 8.
