I think it is but one thing about it is, if you don't like it, it's really hard to remove it. Just wait another month and if your PC can handle it OK, just load the full version of 10. Microsoft will do a diagnostics check to make sure your unit can handle it. Let the preview go and wait till it's out for everyone. I'm using it on another unit and really like it!

If you're asking this, then you probably shouldn't try it. Windows 10
is currently in beta, which means that it isn't done and still has
problems and bugs in it.

Betas are meant for developers to update their apps to take advantage of
newer technologies, or just to make the app work better.
Regular users can use betas, but since they're buggy most of the time,
it wouldn't be a good idea. You may be working on a very important
research paper, and then the next day, it's gone or part of it gets
erased. Sometimes, some programs might not work correctly or flat out
refuse to work.

I tried the Preview about 10 months ago, and it was stable for the most
part. However, if you aren't very computer literate, then I would
strongly advice against using it as you may run into some odd and
strange problems.

If you're feeling brave and adventurous, back up all of your data and go
for it. Once you go to the Preview, you can't go back without erasing
everything so carefully think about it.
