I know I'm being tracked on my phone by a co worker. I want to know who... Isn't this against the law?

Unless that co-worker is part of your companies HR team who has the right to make sure you are keeping your hours... No, it's not legal. However, many companies insist you use apps they create for your phone, to stay in touch.

Many of these allow employers to track you, even during off hours. Technically, if they are caught checking on your non work hours... They can get in trouble. If this co-worker is not part of the management, they should not be tracking you... Tell your boss or tell the police, or both.

PS...turn off your wireless and gps when not at work. If possible, leave your phone at home when you go out for a bit. If this person cannot track you for a bit, they might give up.

I know for a fact that the company I work for has the ability to track our movements, but then again it's a company phone so they have that right. I'm not really sure how often they check it, but I do know a couple of people have been fired for being somewhere they were not suppose to be.

However they cannot legally track me on my private phone, and if they did' I'd be pretty ticked (but they actually don't even have my private number). I'm just curious how you know someone is tracking you?
