If you don't see them in your inbox, then they might be in your spam/junk folder.
Ideally your emails should show up in your inbox but occasionally they find their way to your spam or junk folder, have you tried looking there?
If they are not coming through at all, then maybe your device is not set up correctly. Common problems include:
- Using an incorrect or old password
- No internet connection
- Emails being accidentally moved or saved to an archive or other folder within your inbox
- Emails being deleted
- Not having your account synced to the device you are trying to access it with (Apple and Google both have their own mail clients or apps for mobile phones, and you will have to go through a short setup process in order to receive and read email on your phone).
If you tell me what device it is you are trying to access your email through, and the name of the server (e.g yahoo, gmail etc) I can talk you through it.
Alternatively, if you visit the website of your email provider, there should be step by step instructions on how to set up your email account, or how to check that mail is coming through to you correctly.
That said, generally up to date devices seem to be able to do this with very little help. Ten years ago, a fairly complex amount of data was needed in order to get email set up, but I find it is normally a very quick process nowadays.
I am happy to help, so if you give me more information on what the problem is with your email account, I will do all I can to resolve it.
