This is an irritating issue to face, but if you've forgotten the password to your LG phone, you may have to factory reset the device.
Without knowing the exact model of LG phone you have, it's difficult to provide alternative methods, as these differ from model to model. Regardless of that, however, most locked phones require a factory reset if you can't remember the code.
What does a factory reset do?
This does exactly what it says on the tin really. Your phone will be reset to its factory settings. That's fine for most people, but you may want to take your phone into the nearest phone shop to see if they can help you first. Here's why:
- A factory reset completely wipes your phone of all the data you've added.
- All images will be deleted.
- All videos will be deleted.
- All other saved items will be deleted.
You can't undo a factory reset, so have a think whether you're willing to lose all of the data on your phone. If you don't mind, great! If you've got a picture that you never wanted to lose, however, it may be a bit more traumatic!
