The primary storage device is the device where the data will firstly enter like RAM (RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY). In this storage device data is erased when the power supply to the computer is stopped. On the other hand, secondary storage devises are those where more data can be stored and data stored is permanently stored. Examples of secondary storage devices include hard disks, floppy drives, tape drives
etc. Unlike primary storage, in secondary storage data is not erased when the power supply is closed.

Primary storage is used for holding data or programs temporaly while primary storage is the holding of data prnamently
