The plain paper setting will use less ink than any photo paper setting in the driver.
Mike J, you are absolutely right, Glossy printer paper uses less ink than plain printer paper. I personally have a small business of paper rolls and i am purchasing it from BPA Free Rolls and I always trying to provide good service.

Glossy Paper are
utilized for ultra smooth and sharp appearance, on the other hand Matte
paper are less lively and don't have astounding look.
Talking about which paper utilizes less ink than i would say Glossy Paper since Matte papers have pours and the ink get retain in these
pours as Glossy paper is smooth so it doesn't absorb ink.
