A KRED score is a measure of online social influence used by KRED, developed by PeopleBrowsr. It measures influence by detecting whom a person's content reaches, how far it reaches, who interacts with it, and who then passes it on to their circle of influence.
KRED can give the user an overal influence score or a separate score for each of their online communities. It is the only influence measurer that openly publishes it's algorithm.
Personally I've never actually used KRED, but I do use something very similar called Klout. These barometers of social influence are very useful for online businesses and marketing.
