Why Do People Answer Questions On Q&A Websites?

So that they can learn the answers to something that they are curious about. Learning is a great thing in life. I am on the lookout for a new dictionary. I gave up on asking my kids to get one for me for christmas, so, I am going to get one. Lol Knowledge is power.

Well to get a little smarter and have fun i do it all the time its great.

I say because it is fun

Any number of reasons which would include; boredom, wanting to share acquired knowledge, and the desire to help others.
