You can install the printer. You should install proper driver software of the printer.
Open control panel > printer > open printer right click properties > try to take a test page.
If test page is coming fine that means, printer is working fine. If no any print, then you can uninstall and reinstall the printer driver software. You can change printer cable and check.
You can check printer driver software are installed properly or not in, Device manager. If any yellow mark(?) show in device manger in printer options, that means printer driver software is not install properly. You should update or reinstall it. You should also check printer spooler service is enable or not.
Start > run > type service.msc > find printer spooler service > right click enable.
You should also check any lexmark printer service are listed in the list. You should also enable that.
