Search Glow is actually part of the Windows Live Toolbar. It causes number of problems like hangovers and crashers. The solution is very easy. Simply go to the Add/Remove programs applet present in the control panel of your system. Then uninstall Windows Live Toolbar and Desktop search. The Toolbar and Search glow component will go away. For future protection, make a full spyware scan to check that your system does not have any viruses.
