How To Get Any Pokemon In Pokemon Platinum?

Strategies I've heard:
Tap the A button quickly
Hold down the A button
Say "Gotcha" into the mic clearly

By the way: The tilt doesn't work because the Ds doesn't have an Axis...

Just be patient.  Inflict a status condition, damage it into either red or orange, and use the best type of pokeball for the situation (ex. In a cave or at night use dusk balls,  or quick balls at the beginning of a battle.)

I've heard you hit the Y button right when the pokemon goes into the ball.

I Send The Pokemon I'm Trying To Catch To Sleep (Give It A Special Condition) And Then I Try To Catch It. Or I Would Get Its Health About Half Way Or Maybe On Red And Then I Would Catch It. Preferably Higher The Level The Better The Poke Ball You Should Use.
