What Pokemon Can You Get In Pokemon Platinum?
All the pokemon in johto, kanto, hoenn and sinnoh. You will also get Giratina origin form and shaymin sky form.
You can get over 492 pokemon from sinnoh, kanto, hoenn, johto giritina origin form as well as shaymin's sky forme.
If you've got the National Dex; all 492 pokemon.
Every single pokemon from every single game
Any pokemon all you have to do is find then or go to the all new pal park (witch is only available with a national dex) and migrate them from your favorite pokemon game to Platinum
You can get them all but some may have to be exported.
You can get all pokemon like in DP except Shaymin, Giratina, and Rotom have different forms.
You can get ALL 493 pokemon, and to do that you need all GBA cartridges

Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald
you need to transfer all the pokemons from all the games including Legendarys (of course)
so on Pokemon events, you will get Rare/Legendarys and valuable Pokemon.
