Improving technology is always a good thing. I mean, you DON'T have to buy them. There are many who could and do. Some people with certain wireless carriers have the option to upgrade their phone every two years for $200. Because at the end of the day, if they weren't making sales they wouldn't put out new phones that often.

Because some people are guilible enough to keep buying them just becausee they are new. It used to be they came out every two years which was the length of the standard contract and you got a free one with a new contract. Then people started payiung rediculous sums just so they can say they have the newest. Now everyone is screwed because you can't get a free one anymore.
