The + sign is used to separate the words you are looking for while searching on the internet and is a replacement for the word 'and'..

The "+" Boolean operation on search engines serves to expand a search... If you are looking for something that is quite rare, a single word/phrase search may not offer the results you need. By adding a "+" and another term to your search, you are able to broaden your search results

+ Search Operator is offered by Google to enhance Search. The + sign is used with word to find that exact word in search. By attaching + immediately before a word, you are telling Google to match that word precisely as you typed it. Remember, don't add a space after the +(See Example Below).
Do note that, Google ignores common words and characters such as where, the, how, and other digits and letters that slow down your search without improving the results.
If a common word is essential to getting the results you want, you can make sure we pay attention to it by putting a "+" sign in front of it.
Example: Telenor +in Pakistan.
Putting double quotes around the word will do the same thing.
