Domain/DBMS constraints are constraints on the database that require relations to satisfy certain properties. Relations that satisfy all such constraints are legal relations. We make relations legal by following 'Normalization' rules. It means a relationship in databases between relations is "Legal" if you have followed Normalization steps in the prescribed way.
