I needed to replace the "gear" as the company who sells the magic bullet refers to it. It is the little pointy disc seen in the base of the unit that the bullet engages to spin. After waiting two weeks for a response via email - I was directed to a phone number to call. After waiting through the hype and never once hearing the words "for parts" I got through to someone.  They informed me they do not sell just the "gear" and that I would have to purchase the whole base at $20.00 . FYI they will sell you new cups and rings no problem - just if that little piece of plastic breaks your out $20 OR you can do what I did - using a screwdriver hold the shaft of the motor from the bottom of the base. Use vice grips or a good set of pliers to hold the brass shaft mount on the inside of the bullet and rotate in the opposite way of normal.  This will unscrew it from the shaft.  Take you broken pieces and the shaft coupler and glue it together with epoxy (I used a five minute epoxy for aircraft and rockets).  After it sets up screw it back in there and away you go. I fixed it for $.10 .

I also repaired mine, with an even better security of gluing tightly wrapped floss around that little plastic impeller (the one the rubber clutch fits into) and it broke apart again. Have you found that impeller anywhere ? I've looked for it in small appliance stores, but they no longer have the inventory they used to.
