I used to have 45's. I still have some albums but I don't have a turntable to play them on. Some albums are picture discs of bands that are now in the rock-n-roll hall of fame, so I'm not ready to part with them.

Oh yes, I used to have the old record player and lots of 45's and albums. One of my first records I played was Cathy's Clown by The Everyly Brothers. I bet some of you youngsters don't remember that song. πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

I loved the Everly Brothers too .... I think I had most of their records in my collection. (My boyfriend and I had a real-life "Wake Up Little Suzie" story back then!)

I loved my 45 rpm records throughout the 50's and 60's, and wore most of them out!Β  I do still collect vinyl albums and have a decent turntable, but nothing comes close to those early memories.Β  πŸ’•

We went to a garage sale the other day and the man decided to play a record on his record player. I took the opportunity to show my kids what one looks like and got to think of you guys when I heard the telltale sound of the crackle everyone says can not be duplicated. It was a neat experience to hear. 😊
