I used to have 45's. I still have some albums but I don't have a turntable to play them on. Some albums are picture discs of bands that are now in the rock-n-roll hall of fame, so I'm not ready to part with them.
Heck I still have a turntable and albums, Now albums are collectibles before it just used to be music.
Oh yes, I used to have the old record player and lots of 45's and albums. One of my first records I played was Cathy's Clown by The Everyly Brothers. I bet some of you youngsters don't remember that song. 😃😃😃😃😊😀😀😃😃😃
The only record player I had.... Was a Smurf record player and of course it played the Smurf's theme song. Lol!
I loved my 45 rpm records throughout the 50's and 60's, and wore most of them out! I do still collect vinyl albums and have a decent turntable, but nothing comes close to those early memories. 💕
