I don't use social networks. This (Blurtit) is as social as I get....I don't want people all up in my business.

Blurtit... I have many wonderful caring loving friends here but I get lots lots of negative drama here.

FB......I have many wonderful caring loving friends on FB and absolutely no drama, no backstabbing, no lying, I've never had an argument, not one rude, hateful person, no one has every disrespect GOD/scriptures or anyone, we talk/discuss GOD freely. No one has called me an ugly name, no on has insinuated I was anything negative. Each morning I have 15-20 " Good morning" well wishing and happy encouraging stickers. When I post a question it's not met with silly answers that have nothing to do with the questions. 25 of us have a "Meet and Greet" planned for Sun Nov 20 and it wasn't my idea. This will be the 3rd meet and greet. I'm closing the gap on loneliness :)  Anyhoo, I like both sites.

Jan..... maybe I am doing it wrong. I get the complete OPPOSITE on Facebook then what you get. Anyways, I am so happy the loneliness is going away for you my friend. ☺

Yin, (no offense to anyone) I/ we friend people who want and desire to get along with all folks, we seek peaceful, loving, caring people, we want to learn and share and have a yacht load of fun. We unfriend and if necessary we block those who want to argue, fuss, name call and fight. Everyone can and is encouraged to give any opinion for or against, good or bad, agree or disagree but you can't be disrepestful, go on long nonsense answers or endless debates or rants about anything and no one is allow to disrespect GOD in any way. We have about 30 different religious beliefs and others. Finally religious questions are encouraged and scriptures are discussed, among other things. Bottom line we want to get along.

I use  CornerHub, Twitter, Tumblr, Blurtit, Yahoo Answers, Ello, Minds, 1bark, Google Plus, Xyrlo, Quora, Youtube and Vimeo. I stopped using Facebook. I saw scammers, trolls and many bad and boring people on Facebook.

I use Facebook, but with all the negative political comments lately, I have been limiting my time on there.

Good morning In my group of people we post everything except for Satanic, gross, horror. We civilly discuss politics, religion, GOD, his son Jesus Christ, scriptures and everything. We are people of all walks of life.
Last week we helped each other find two doctors, Medicare programs, hearing aid program, Medicaid, a car, free food panrty, a fridge and helped a woman get a coat.

I see mostly good on my Facebook feed. I belong to a group that deals with holistic care of boxers which is a great help, and a page for the community I live in to get help to those who need it. Such as food drives and blood drives. Or organizes groups to go out help people. After the hurricane they cleared a lot of yards for people who couldn't physically do it themselves, or afford to pay for it to be done.

And I have a bout 100 friends almost all I have known for over 20 years, and many over 40. This year has just gotten nasty. And in all honesty it is maybe just 5 or so people who are the problem. I would just unfriend them, but they are mostly people who are related to my husband. I am learning to just skip over their posts.
