No, I tried but I can't get into them. I'd much rather watch dramas with shooting, killing, knifing and utter chaos.
I like several of them on PBS. I don't copy and follow the recipes. I look at the techniques and flavor combinations. I just keep tasting until I like the balance.
America's Test Kitchen explains the science behind the cooking methods. I find that very interesting!
The only one I like to watch is The Chew.

But I DO read cookbooks for pleasure...was just at the Lions Club annual sale today, and all us ladies crowded around the cookbook table, laughing at ourselves.
I read, dream, mark up the book with notes for all the luscious things I will make someday ---- and then never do it.
