A couple of online gaming sites that were OK but my first real serious account was with Amazon. Still use it all the time. Joined a website in the late 90's called " Living Dizzy". It was a forum for people with Meniere's disease to discuss all the problems and to try and help each other. I can't remember some of them but those come right to mind.
Deviantart c:
TPG (my ISP) for emails. I don't think Google offered a log-in in those days and YouTube hadn't been around all that long.
Apart from those, my first site of choice was the Kasparov Chess Club which went down the gurgler a couple of years later.
AOL back when it was pretty much the only choice.
Hatena, Deviantart, or Newgrounds... I can't remember which one I had first.
Ask.com....one of the best decisions I ever made.....not because of the site itself, but all the wonderful people that I have met because of that site.
Holy garbage, I was over thinking this Q. I was reading what is the first website account that you created (as in created the webpage). Ok, well that over, I can't remember, that was back in the early 90's. The only one I can think of and I know it's not the first, was my email account on a mail server that got bought out by MSN.
AOL was my first and one of the very few at the time.
I started on a multi-line bulletin board, and then it gained access to the internet, after being part of a couple of other webs prior to that. Way back in the olden days. (AOL was not available here, unless I called long distance to Great Falls in the USA.)
I think the First website i went to was newgrounds but the first thing i made an account for was Wattpad
Or a game called mechquest or was it dragonfable?
Mine was a stupid virtual world, haha. It was fun, and I think I was 8 or 9.
hmmm. The first account i ever made online.. Would have to be hotmail. And im pretty sure the first social networking site i joined was buddytv (late 2006 when it was the best site ever).. But of course. The owners changed everthing earily 2009 and people left.
For those in the know...its 22 now :)
