A security system is an electronic/wireless system that you install in your house to monitor your home, and hopefully it will help to deter burglars from breaking into your house as well. You can either hire a security monitoring company to monitor the alarms in your home (recommended), or you can set up your own system and monitor your home yourself.

If a company is monitoring your home, they will call the police if the alarms go off and there is a break-in, they will also try to get in touch with you to make sure you are safe. If you install things such as light sensors, or window and door sensors, you will most likely stop someone from breaking into your home because it will scare them away.

If you choose to install your own system and do some self-monitoring, you will need to make sure that you install a lot of bells and whistles to help ward off criminals. In the off-chance that the burglar isn’t too concerned about your warning signs and decides to break-in anyway, then the only way the cops are going to get dispatched is if you call them or your neighbours hear your alarms and call the cops themselves.

It’s important to make sure that you weigh the pros and cons of either option. Shop around and do your research and see what kind of system and features that you’d like to have installed. It’s better to be safe than sorry!

The most basic definition of any security system is found in its name. It is literally a means or method by which something is secured through a system of interworking components and devices.

In this instance, we're talking about home security systems, which are networks of integrated electronic devices working together with a central control panel to protect against burglars and other potential home intruders.

A typical home security system includes:

A control panel, which is the primary controller of a home's security system

Door and window sensors

Motion sensors, both interior and exterior

Wired or wireless security cameras

A high-decibel siren or alarm

A yard sign and window stickers

It should work as a combination of several devices. Each of them is responsible for a different part of the whole system. For example, your security system can consist of fire and flood detectors, motion sensors, cameras, sirens, and so on. All the products have a control system. It can happen through a computer website, phone app, or any notification system. I recommend you to pay close attention to the products of the Ajax company. Here is their website - https://ajax.systems/.

The security system is a wireless system that helps you control your house from a distance and makes sure that you and your belongings are safe. It's really useful and convenient, and especially when you own smart house appliances. They definitely make your life easier, and with something like Ajax systems, you don't have to worry if you forgot to turn off the lights, so your house management is possible with just a phone.

We have SimpliSafe but we don’t pay a service to link it to their base. We have sensors on all windows and doors. If someone opens a window a very loud alarm will go off within 10 seconds. By that point ill have my gun in hand from the bedside safe. I also want to install the following metal bar as additional security for the door https://www.bestlockguide.com/door-barricade-bar/

We also have a dog that barks at everything. I dont know if a pug will do the trick but ya never know.

I would entrust the protection of the house to sentry safe. According to numerous reviews and support from this company at sentry safe customer service , they correspond to the price-quality indicator. Therefore, I can advise it without hesitation.
