Contact the phone company who issue the SIM.

To get the PUK code for your locked Samsung Galaxy Note 3 you need to call your network operator.

They will take you through a few security questions and then they will be able to give it to you.

It can also be found on the piece of plastic that your sim was snapped off from, and sometimes on the box of your phone, if you still have it.

Whatever you do, do not try to guess it!

If you enter it incorrectly 10 times your sim will be permanently locked and you will have to request a brand new sim. Your network have the right to charge for this, plus there is the inconvenience of being without your phone for a day or two while they send it to you.

When you receive the PUK code just enter it into your phone. It will then probably ask for an unlock pin but this can be disabled in settings if you don't want to bother with that.

It is a good idea to lock a phone though, as you never know who might try to look at your private messages etc. Plus, someone may be able to access more important things, such as bank accounts.
