There is one way I can think of to get around website surveys but, before I answer the question, I'd urge you to consider why those surveys are there in the first place:
As someone who browses and reads stuff on the internet all the time, I understand how frustrating it is to hit a pop-up that says "Answer this question" or "Like us on Facebook" just so you can read the article you were looking for.
It's like a natural impatience that we all suffer with as internet users.
But, on the other side of things is the publishers. The people that are spending their time, effort and money to bring you interesting articles, content, and yes... Even questions and answers!
These people naturally want to see something in return for all their hard work: Money.
Traditionally, internet content has made money through advertising.
But, from a user-experience point of view, a page heavy with ads isn't appealing or fun to read. There's also the issue that ads don't seem to be monetizing as well as they used to.
So publishers are looking at alternative ways of keeping their businesses up and running, and free for consumers to enjoy.
One option is surveys. As annoying as they can be, they're a little way you can support the sites that are providing you information and entertainment for free!
How to get around surveys
Anyway, rant over, if you still remain unconvinced - then here's how to et around those surveys.
1) Many surveys are displayed using something called Javascript. Blocking your browser from displaying Javascript will prevent the majority of surveys from displaying.
In Google Chrome, you can do this through Settings > Options > Advanced System Settings.
You'll then need to look under "content settings" and find the area labelled Javascript.
From there, you should be able to block all websites from running javascript. Just be warned that this may alter how many websites look and function!
