For most Instagram users, filters can be useful in editing photos. An article written by 'The Date Report' blogger Rachel Sugar points out the most commonly used filters. While the list does not show the ones that will get you the most likes, it does show the most commonly used ones (and therefore shows user preference).

I personally would use Toaster or  Mayfair (both used to increase the temperature of my profile picture). These two are in the top 5 filters used on Instagram, and are favourites because most people are attracted more to them.

The image below (from The Date Report) lists the top filters according to how many likes the photo has received (and how often the filter has been used).

I suggest you use any of the highlighted filters in the image to increase your chances of getting likes.
