If i would have been all the way awake, i would have said suuuuuuure, you give me a quarter mil in cash deposited in my bank account and i'll sign it over right now. Then you(the realtor) can pay the taxes and utilities for the next 2-3 years until it sells for 120000. : )

I thought you were going to say- you hand the phone to your grandson/grandaughter,then i ask why(thinking your going to say so they can go goo goo gaga on the phone) then you say- because he/she is a lawyer. : )

You shouldn't do that. Imagine the mental trauma for the poor caller when you do that. When you say: "No Thanks", it's possible they might decide to end their life, there and then.

Over a lost sale? I'd be more worried about the caller going postal. :)

My favourite one which always ensures there is never a repeat from cold callers, is to put on a French accent and say Madame Fifi's have you reserved a table as we're fully booked.Hello? Madame Fifi's authentic French restaurant? Job done !

The best one i heard was when a co-worker had a window company call asking if he wanted a free estimate for basement wndows, he said sure you can come out and give me a free estimate. The guy shows up after driving for a hour knocks on the door starts his spill then walks around the house to find there are no basement windows or a basement. : )

My refrigerator is stacked full of them.... I'm worried I will be found guilty of call hoarding.
