There are three types of view in dbms.1.external view.2.conceptual view.3.internal view.Data independence :- when any change in one type of data does not affect on other,s that is called data independence.On the basic of above three view,s database indipendance is devided in two types.1.logical independence :-It indicate that conceptual schema can be changed without affecting the external schema the change may be absorbed by mapping from external to conceptual schema.2.Physical indipendance :-It indicate that the physical storage structure or device used for storing data could be changed without nessesating a change of conceptual view of any other external view.
