Is Bejeweled Blitz Good For Your Brain?

I just searched the net for this exact question and noticed nobody answered you yet. My wife and I were wondering the same thing. She is a Bejeweled addict and seems to think that playing Bejeweled is making her smarter. She spends hours playing the game, and I'm getting a little worried; maybe I'm worried because her high scores are always better than mine. I think that any type of exercise you give your brain is good exercise. Too many people today don't exercise their brains enough.  I know that visual recognition, memory, color  association, and puzzle solving(especially timed) are all used in I.Q. Tests. In my search to find out if Bejeweled was making us smarter, I came across this Newsweek article. I hope this helps-
