Generally speaking some of the base materials are plastics, and steel (sheet metal), aluminum, copper, tin, some gold, very little platinum, several kinds of resin, and most all chips have gallium in them. Materials vary from manufacturer to manufacturer but the base parts or pretty much the same as cars, but with different amounts of each material.
