Blue & yellow vertical lines appeared on my LG 42". I done the following and the lines disappeared and haven't returned. On the remote control press: Menu > Special > ISM Method. Then in turn choose White Wash, Orbiter and Inversion options and leave on each for a minute. Turn off TV and switch on again. I don't guarantee this will work, but it does appear to have solved my problem.
