Do people still use ant-virus software?

I would say that we need anti-virus software more than ever today. Especially with so many online threats and with all of the recent data breaches we have seen in recent years. We may not see or hear about all of them as much, but people’s information is being stolen each and every day.

When our information is taken, we literally have to rebuild our life. Especially when we discover it has been taken long after the fact. Some people did not know that someone was using their personal or business info to borrow money, commit other crimes, or to assume their identity for other reasons.

The best anti-virus software will not prevent identity theft alone as there are  other ways we can learn to prevent identity theft without relying on software to do it all. It is just a piece to the puzzle, but a very important one in today’s world.
