Why should we update BIOS system of PC?

Don't listen to Maya! Upgrading your bios is not something that should be done on a regular basis. In fact, upgrading your bios could actually cause problems. Also, upgrading your bios won't make your PC faster. Unless there is a problem with your system that you know is caused by an out of date bios or the update has a feature you absolutely need (it most likely won't), leave your bios alone.

BIOS updates aren’t big software upgrades that add new features, security patches, or performance improvements. BIOS updates typically have very short change logs – they may fix a bug with an obscure piece of hardware or add support for a new model of CPU.

If your computer is working properly, you probably shouldn’t update your BIOS. You might end up messing with the BIOS password, too,  if you do not know how BIOS works.
