I got a nice pair of desktop speakers from CNET for about $20 about a year or so ago.

I learn best visually rather than auditorily, so I prefer to watch a demonstration with the closed captioning on or read an article in print.

I will occasionally listen to music with the speakers on, but I tend to use earphones if I will be listening for an extended period of time.

Because I game so much and want realistic sound, I run a Bose Surround sound speaker system ! I wouldn't trade it for anything ! It's a couple of years old now and it's about time to upgrade. So realistic sound !

Well worth the money for the quality of the sound. You can hear a Tiger tanks treads and rollers squeaking and the whirring of the turrets and everything.

Since I use a Fire tablet and listen to music on my phone when I'm walking, I use a nice set of Bose earphones, can't beat the quality sound. Thanks! :)
