For here ? I made mine a long time ago and change the avatar for certain Holidays and my age when it changes but I hate doing that. Otherwise, I'm happy with it as it is. Didn't take but about 5 minutes.
How long do you spend making your profile and how often do you update it?
The amount of time for making my profile it would depends. And i guess i wouldn't update so often. Except it's photo. I would change it while to while and during different events to represent the meaning.
I took just a few minutes to make my profile. I change my avatar frequently though....and of course I change it accordingly for any holiday

The avatar? I've been stuffing around with it for the past two days trying to get a sharp Christmas picture. I've tried higher density, lower, bigger, smaller and although they all look OK on my profile page they're very fuzzy on the Q&A pages.
